About Forever Wildlife Lodge & Clinic

Forever Wildlife Lodge & Clinic was established in 2002 by our founder, Lynn Posey, whose compassion for animals and dedication to giving them a second chance created the foundation for everything we are today.

Following Lynn’s passing, we are honored to continue the work she began and carry forward the mission she devoted so much of her life to.

Her legacy lives on through every life we save.

Today, Forever Wildlife Lodge & Clinic is a busy rescue and rehabilitation organization caring for thousands of animals each year. While wildlife rehabilitation is at the heart of what we do, our compassion extends beyond wildlife. We also assist domestic animals, including cats and dogs, when we are able.

Throughout the year, we respond to animals in all kinds of situations — injured wildlife, orphaned babies, animals displaced from their natural habitats, wildlife affected by human activity, and domestic animals that may be abandoned, neglected, injured, or simply in need of someone willing to help.

Our wildlife patients range from the smallest newborn squirrels, rabbits, and songbirds to raccoons, opossums, waterfowl, turtles, foxes, coyotes, owls, hawks, eagles, and many other native species. Our goal for every rehabilitatable wild animal is always the same: provide the care they need to heal, grow, and ultimately return to the wild where they belong.

The work behind each rescue is extensive. We respond to calls, coordinate and perform rescues and transports, provide specialized diets and around-the-clock care, administer medications, arrange veterinary treatment, maintain appropriate rehabilitation habitats, and prepare animals for release. During our busiest seasons, new animals can arrive every day while dozens of others are already depending on us.

Some stay with us for only a short time. Others require weeks or months of rehabilitation. Every one of them matters.

More than two decades after Lynn first opened her heart and doors to animals in need, Forever Wildlife Lodge & Clinic continues her legacy one rescue at a time.

We are proud of where we began, grateful for the community that helps make this work possible, and committed to being here for the animals who have nowhere else to turn.
